Who can submit?
Whether you are a professional, amateur or first time writer, we welcome all submissions!
What are the sections I can submit for?
News, Opinion, Arts & Culture, and Variety (Literary and Artwork).
Do you need to be Jewish to submit?
No you do not! Anyone can submit.
Do you need to be Canadian to submit?
While the primary focus of the publication will be from a Canadian perspective, we accept submissions from all around the world!
Can we send a pitch without the written piece?
Yes! We are always looking for people to write with us. Please send a pitch new fewer than 250 words and no more than 500 words.
When do you accept submissions?
We accept submissions on a rolling basis.
How often do you publish?
We publish quarterly (four issues a year).
What do I include with my submission?
Please send your submission either in a word document or pdf.
Include your full name, contact details (phone number and/or email), hometown, preferred pronoun, and a little blurb about yourself.
Please attach comic and artwork submissions in a pdf document.Can I submit for more than one section?
Yes!
How do I submit?

When will I hear back from the publication after I submit my work?
Niv is a small team, but we are working diligently to reply to your submissions as soon as possible. If you don’t hear from us in 30 days please feel free to send us an email.
Will contributors get compensated for their work?
Right now, contributors are not compensated for their work. However, the Niv team is actively working to change this.
Who holds the copyright to the article if it is published?
You hold the copyright to your work. If at a later point the piece is republished elsewhere, it must be stipulated that Niv was the original publisher.
